License Check Results
If you license check results comes back VALID, nothing needs to be done. You can continue driving.
However, if your results comes back as SUSPENDED:
- DON’T DRIVE. Getting caught driving with a suspended license in Florida is a serious offense. It could lead to vehicle impoundment, confiscation of your license, and large fines; and depending on the circumstances, can result in your arrest, criminal charges, and jail time.
- DON’T PAY. Don’t start paying off unpaid traffic tickets thinking this will fix your license. Although you may be able to temporary reinstate your suspended license, paying a ticket is an admission of guilt resulting in points. Points not only increase your insurance premiums but can re-suspend your license. Hey Sir,
So I need to know that in the state of Florida, failure to pay a Traffic cam ticket will result in suspension of your license? Apparently I had a traffic cam ticket I knew nothing about and now my license is suspended for failure to pay it, but all research I have seen has said that because the traffic cams are a 3rd party company thing that it would not effect my license.
Thank you for your question! I just emailed you. -Frank
